Frank H. Crow, age 84 of Houston, passed away on March 28, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Lila (Berg) Crow, and sisters, Winky Crow and Webe Crow Williams. He is survived by his sons, Jeff Crow and Eric Crow; niece, Ellen Williams Kilgore & her husband Keith; nephews, Francis Williams and Bolton Williams & his wife Jeri; longtime friends, Anne Hitchcock and Bill Schramm; and a host of many other family & friends. Frank was born on January 15, 1926 in Dallas, Texas and resided in the Houston area since 1963. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II in Patton’s 3rd Army and also served as a lieutenant in Counter Intelligence during the Korean Conflict. Frank was a technical writer for IBM for thirty years and did a great deal of writing for the NASA space programs. He had an extraordinary vocabulary and was constantly reading and loved doing the New York Times crossword puzzles. In his spare time, he could be found tinkering in the garage with his woodworking projects. Along with his good friends, Frank enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and even became an avid ballroom and country western dancer. He spent a lot of time with his boys and they all traveled to Europe on several occasions. Frank will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved him. The Funeral Service for Frank will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 am at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive (at T.C. Jester) in Houston, Texas.
