Obituary of Pat Edward Mayfield

Pat Edward Mayfield November 17, 1934 - June 11, 2012 Pat Mayfield, 77, of Webster, Texas passed away on June 11, 2012. He was born in Bloomburg, Texas on November 17th, 1934 to Clyde and Ethleen Mayfield. Following high school, Pat joined the Army in 1957 and served our country honorably until his retirement as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1981. In the years following, Pat worked at Raytheon where he continued his work at keeping our country safe from harm until finally retiring in 1996. He is preceded in death by his wife Meredith, sister Sue Ann Frazier, and nephew David Brown. Survivors include daughters Melissa Mayfield and fiance Ernest Martinez, Priscilla Lynn Tharp and husband Kelly, Lisa Greagrey and husband Joe, sons Pat E. Mayfield Jr., Jeffery A. Mayfield, stepsons Norbert Garrett and wife Alyssa, Daniel Garrett and his wife Kim, sisters Elizabeth Brown, Patsy Dingle, nephews Bill Brown and wife Silvia, Danny Morrow, nieces Cindy Heckert and husband Donald, Lisa Ritchie and husband Dale, 4 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandchild. Memorial service will be held Wednesday June 20th at 7pm at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home in La Porte.
