Morris Benard,Jr, 90, passed away in Pasadena Texas on December 23, 2013. Born in Lafayette, La on April 6, 1923 to Morris,Sr and Leezena Benard. Survivors include his Daughters Nearly White and Husb. Lacy, and Grace Jackson all of California, Grandchildren Robin Lynn Bennett and Nichols Maurice White and a Host of Great and Great Great Grandchildren,and his Sister Dorothy Mae Dawson. Morris was Preceded in Death by his Brothers Nelson, Felton, Ethan, William, and Ernest. Morris was a Member of St Mary s Catholic Church and Retired from Dupont Chemical Plant.
Services will be Thursday Dec. 26, 2013 at 11:00 A M at St Mary s Catholic Church in LaPorte with interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
