Gene Morris McKinney April 19, 1938 - January 06, 2014 Gene Morris McKinney, 75, of La Porte, Texas passed away on January 6th, 2014. He was born in Warren, Arkansas on April 19th, 1938. He is survived by his wife Almeda McKinney, sons Mike McKinney, Morris McKinney, sister Eloise Hickey, grandson Michael McKinney, and 3 great grandchildren Michael III, Brianna, and Aubrey. Gene was a retired police chief of Morgan’s Point, Texas and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2753 La Porte, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday January 9th, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and services will be on Friday January 10th, 2014 at 10:00AM at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home in La Porte.
