Please allow me extend my sincere condolences for Herman Berges. He was one of the finest men I have ever known and was a true force for good in his community. He was a man of infinite good character and his otherworldliness was legendary among those who knew him well. He will be missed by all he touched with his exceptional kindness, a kindness all them more unusual due to the simple fact he gave so much and asked so little in return.
Requiescat in pace, my friend. I will miss you.

Hello,
I am so sorry to learn that Herman had passed away. He was such a friendly man. If you had any business with the La Porte Cementary, you dealt with Herman. He always conducted the Cementary business in a very professional way.
My condolences go out to all of the family.

I will miss Bro B so much. He was such a wonderful man who always had a kind word for me. He was one of the first people who introduced himself to us when we first moved into the Pasadena 2nd Ward over 20 years ago. My children were very small at the time, but always called him the Tic Tac man because he always carried tic tacs in his pocket, that he would hand out to all the children. We Love You Bro B and will always remember you!
