Lygie Edward Naivar, 65, of La Porte passed away Monday August 31, 2009. He was born August 7, 1944 in Highlands, Texas to Francis and Willie Naivar. Lygie is survived by daughters Debra Davis and husband Kennon, Lisa Naivar Ruby, son William Naivar, brother Bill Naivar and wife Joyce, and grandchildren Karen Ruby, Austin Ruby, Ryan Benedict, Floyd Marsh, Zachary Naivar, Colton Davis, and Jayde Davis.
Visitation will be held Thursday September 3, 3009 at 5PM- 8PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Friday September 4, 2009 at 10AM at Sterling-White Cemetery in Highlands, Texas.
