Carrie Caldwell Rooks, 68, passed away Sunday November 29, 2009 after a fight with cancer. She was born December 9, 1940 in Newnan, Georgia to Ethel Benefield and George Caldwell. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Rooks. Carrie is survived by her children Robbin Hardy and husband David of Splendora, TX, Patricia Rooks of Mississippi, Paul Rooks of Splendora, TX, grandchildren D.J., Korey, Krista, Beth, and great grandchildren Lexi, Jordan, Skyler, Luke, and Faith.
Visitation will be held Wednesday December 2, 2009 at 9AM-12PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation at 12:30PM at La Porte Cemetery.
