Obituary of Mary Jo Sauter

Mary Jo Sauter April 04, 1943 - September 03, 2009 Mary Jo Sauter, 66, of La Porte passed away Thursday September 3, 2009. She was born April 4, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Jo and Frank Futral. Mary graduated from La Porte High School in 1960. She worked for the City of Pasadena for 26 years. She also was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in La Porte and the OPEIU Local. She is survived by husband Jerold Sauter, Sr., children Jerold Sauter, Jr. and wife Rogena, Amber Greenwood and husband Bo, Kelsi Sauter, sister Jane Shipp, and grandchildren Douglas, Alex, and Keltin. A memorial service will be held Tuesday September 8, 2009 at 1PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church in La Porte. In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be to a breast cancer research foundation of your choice.
