Jewel Dean Blount, 91, of La Porte, Texas passed away on October 16th, 2011. She was born in Pearly, Texas on June 14th, 1920 to Cloddie and Lillie Henson. She is preceded in death by her husband Grady M. Blount and survived by her children Judy D. Barker and husband L.B. “Sonny”, Melinda Cox, grandchildren Mark Cox and wife Brandy, Jennifer McCaffrey and husband Michael, Michelle Small and husband James, Rick Barker and wife Heather, great grandchildren Abbie Cox, Ainsley Barker, Dylan Small,and soon to be Mason Grady McCaffrey, Allie Jones, Madison Crawford, Dylan Crawford, and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday October 18th, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home, and a graveside service will be Wednesday October, 19th, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Grand View Memorial Park.
