Obituary of Joe Edward Swaney

Joe Edward Swaney November 15, 1947 - July 16, 2016 Joe Edward Swaney, 68, peacefully passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at home in LaPorte, Texas with his wife Pamela of 47 years by his side. He was born on November 15, 1947 in Springfield, Ohio to Helen and Delbert Swaney. In 1968, he was drafted by the U.S. Army and he proudly served our country in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1969. He married his wife Pamela Augustus the summer of 1969. In 1977, Joe moved his family to LaPorte, Texas and there they raised three beautiful children: Jennifer, Todd and Kimberly. Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather of seven. He will greatly be missed and his spirit will never be forgotten.
