Wanda White, age 60 of Pearland, passed away on June 6, 2010. She survived by her loving husband, Terry; sons, Daniel Hall & his wife Gela, and Bryan White & his wife Ashley; daughters, Lynn Bullard & her husband Andy, and Audrey Etheridge & her husband John; sisters, Jenny Murray & her husband Rich, Kathie McCracken & her husband David, and Elaine Bitterman; grandchildren, Victoria Lockamy; Cheyenne Etheridge, Wesley Hall, Ethan Hall, Wayne Bullard, George Bullard, and Tilly White; and a host of many other family & friends.
Wanda was born on February 23, 1950 in Erwin, North Carolina and resided in Pearland for the last 15 years. A constant nurturer, one of her greatest joys in life was taking care of her family, friends, or flowers. She made sure to teach all of her children to be self-sufficient and to stand on their own two feet. Wanda really loved gardening, especially taking care of her roses in North Carolina. She once had an enormous garden at her home in Fayetteville and maintained a smaller garden in Pearland. She especially loved roses, gardenias, and lilies. Wanda loved her children & grandchildren and would often have them over so that she could prepare her specialty, traditional southern fried food. Always financially savvy, Wanda worked at Pipeline Supply and Service (PSS) in the accounting department. She truly loved all of her coworkers and her impeccable work ethic caused her to do everything to the best of her ability and she always made sure to have the job done right the first time. At one time, she held the office of President for Women in Construction in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Wanda loved going to the beach with Terry, whether here or at their Holden Beach home. They would often listen and shag (dance) to beach music and were truly best friends & soul mates. Wanda always made sure to take care of others before addressing anything with herself and always shared exactly what was on her mind, even brutal honesty. Wanda will be fondly remembered as a wonderful mother, wife, friend, and confidant. To know her was to love her.
