James Leonard “Jamie” Walker, 41, of La Porte passed away Sunday October 25, 2009. He was born December 14, 1967 in Delhi, Louisiana to Betty and J.W. Walker. Jamie is survived by his parents, children James Howard “Buck” Walker, John Christian Walker, sister Betsy Denmon and husband Jim, nephew James Tyler Denmon, niece Brianna Jane Denmon, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Monday October 26, 2009 at 4PM-9PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday October 27, 2009 at 11AM at Bayshore Baptist Church. A service will also be held Thursday October 29, 2009 at 11AM at Lamar Baptist Church, with interment following at Newton Cemetery in Delhi, Louisiana.
