Obituary of Gus William Wolf

Gus William Wolf August 16, 1931 - October 16, 2007 Gus W. Wolf was born August 16, 1931 in Lexington, TX and passed away October 16, 2007 in Houston. He was raised in Port Arthur where he attended and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1950. He attended Texas Lutheran College, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a former Texas Highway Patrolman, and retired from the Johnson Space Center. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. He is survived by wife Grace Wolf, daughter Suzanne Fagan, son Louis Wolf, daughter in law Stephanie Wolf, and the best granddaughter in the world, Lindsay Fagan. Gus was a member of the La Porte Masonic Lodge #857; Houston Scottish Rite, 32 degrees; Ducks Unlimited; Texas Rifle Association; National Rifle Association; Coastal Conservation Association, and Montana Wildlife Association. In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to: M.D. Anderson Cancer Center P.O. Box 4486 Houston, TX 77210-4486 or Houston Hospice 1905 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, TX 77030. Visitation will be held Friday October 19 at 6-8 pm at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 20 at 2 PM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
