Louise Wheeler, a resident of Pearland, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Louise was born on August 18, 1920 in Chenango, Texas, near Angleton, to the late Lewis and Clyde (Follett) Turner. Louise loved to read and to travel. She enjoyed quilting and made many friends as an avid bridge player, an endeavor for which she attained the rank of Life Master.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Lionel H. Wheeler; her parents, Lewis and Clyde Follett; and her son Robert Wheeler. She is survived by a loving family, her son Lewis Wheeler and his wife Cecile; sisters, Helen Embry and Lorene MacMillan and her husband Robert; two grandchildren, Michael Wheeler and David (Ingrid) Wheeler; five great grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda, Sarah, Megan, and Grant Wheeler; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday January 19, 2008 at Peace Presbyterian Church located at 1801 Country Place Pkwy. Pearland, Texas 77584, 713 436-5673. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Gill.
