Obituary of Jimmy Lynn Woodson

Memorial Service Saturday, Apr 15, 2017 Jimmy Lynn Woodson,Sr April 11, 1948 - March 30, 2017 Jimmy L. Woodson, Sr, 68, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on March 30, 2017. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Leonard Woodson and Dorothy Grounds on April 11, 1948. He graduated from South Houston High School. He married Patricia G. Leteff on April 28, 1967. Throughout his lifetime, he worked as a pipe fitter for Charter Oil Company and as a diesel mechanic for Houston Independent School District. He was a sweet man that would do all that he could to help someone out. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew him. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Patricia Woodson; his sons, Jimmy, Jr, Steven and his wife Carol, Christopher and his wife Kelly, and his daughter, Mary Dickey; his grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor, Holly, Lindsey, Delaney, Lenore, Gareth, Joshua, Natalee, and Dylan; his siblings, Earlene Woodson Thompson, Becky Grounds Graham, and Johnny Grounds; plus many brother and sister in laws, nieces, and nephews. Those who preceded him in death were his parents, Leonard Woodson and Dorothy Grounds, and his brothers, Don Woodson and Alan Woodson. Memorial service to be held at 11:00 on April 15, 2017 at Golden Acres Community Center, 5001 Oak Avenue, Pasadena, TX 77503
