Obituary of Frank Leo Zlomke

Frank Leo Zlomke September 18, 1928 - October 11, 2014 Frank Leo Zlomke, Jr born September 18, 1928 in Dickinson, TX passed away October 11, 2014. Frank was the youngest tug boat captain in the Houston ship channel, shrimping and oystering in Galveston Bay for years with his beloved wife Doris. The couple married in 1948 and had five children. Frank worked and retired from Ethyl Corporation. He is preceded in death by his father Frank Zlomke Sr and Viola Davis Zlomke, two sisters Florence MaFarrin and Joyce Massey, and son Frank Thomas Zlomke. He is survived by his wife Doris Zlomke, daughter Linda Gray, son Leonard Zlomke, daughter and son-n-law Beverly and Ronnie Woods, son and daughter-n-law Charlton and Colleen Zlomke, grandkids Temple Raney, Wesley Arthur, Nicole Cook, Jeremy Woods, Tiffany Rodriguez, Tennille Smith, Sydney Kennedy, and Logan Zlomke and nineteen great grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Zlomke home. Family and friends are welcome. In lieu of usual remembrances donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
