I have many wonderful memories of working with Dottie and the La Porte Oilers. She was always smiling and never hesitated to offer her help to anyone in need. Her family was her source of energy. She was loved by many and will be missed by many more.
God bless you all and I pray for comfort and healing for her family. She has taken the journey we all await. She rests in the arms of our living and loving God.
Until we meet again Dottie, walk those streets of gold and sing with the angels.
My sincerest condolences....,Marilyn

Sending prayers to the family.
Dottie was my neighbor, I'll miss seeing her pass in her pretty white truck - stopping at her mail box & then backing into her drive.
We stopped at each others driveways to do our talking about topics that were bothering us - Trash was the last issue. I just talked to her last week.
When I started a new little side job ( because I was freaking out when our co. got bought out) Dottie didn't hesitate to help me & offer ideas.
I'm going to miss her & all she did for our City.

While La Porte has lost one of its most favored and loved daughters, on a smaller scale, we on Carroll Street have lost our neighbor, our friend. Chad, Laramie and all those boys disturbing the peace with 3 and 4 wheelers..the track still across the street where daily I remember because you can see the memory of the good times they had there. I know she is with Jimmie now and it may have been a great surprise for him to see his love coming. She raised fine boys who will carry and keep her alive daily as I know she would never go very far from the family she adored. Consider her near always. I love you all. Jeannie

Many prayers and love to the Kaminski family. I grew up knowing Dottie because her and my dad were real close friends. They grew up together and both graduated from LPHS. She was always there for the Johnson family and helped us in many ways. We will always cherish our memories with the family. Her spirit will live on in LP and our hearts. My husband came to know her just as well as I did. I know he will greatly miss his chatting buddy. TK and cheeseburger may God give you and all the family great comfort at this time. May his presence be forever at your side. We love you all and will be in our prayers. RIP sweet lady. You will never be forgotten.
