Obituary of Emma Jane Youngblood

Emma Jane Youngblood, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Hayes and Mildred Hodges; and sister, Ruth Ann Stewart.  Jane is survived by loving husband of 44 years, Tom Youngblood; son, Tommy Allen Youngblood Jr.; brother, Jim Hayes; sister, Nancy Skinner; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Jane was a hairdresser for 25 years. She enjoyed crafting and making afghans. She spent her free time reading and doing crafts. Tom and Jane loved spending time down at Boliver in their travel trailer. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, kind hearted and gentle. Jane will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Jane will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The visitation will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the chapel with Dr. Keith Whitaker officiating.  Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin, Texas.
