To Anne, Bernadette and John,
I am so sorry for your loss and sincerely hope that your wonderful memories of John have strengthened and comforted you in the year since his passing.
I was searching on the internet today for people I used to know when I came across the sad news. You may not remember me. I was a young student back in 1970 travelling to America for the first time. I got stranded, somehow had your contact details, telephoned you, and you took me in for the entire summer. It was a wonderful experience for me.
It was unbelievable to me that you and John welcomed me into your home. I treasure my memories of that time notably the warmth, kindness and grown-up advice both John and Anne gave me.
Beautiful man. Good person. Sorry.

Sorry this condolence is a little belated, but we just read about John’s passing in the Electrical Workers newsletter/DC.
Our sympathies are extended to his wife Ann and the
family, from our family.
John was such a pleasant and kind person. Our children enjoyed his company when Ann and John would occasionally watch them for us.
Sincerely,
Patti and Mike Valeika and Family

A dear and valued friend for over 50 years. Always cheerful, kind and interested in other people and their families. A thoughtful, wise and very intelligent man, we valued his friendship highly. He went to Texas, yes, but somehow he was always here in Maryland because he was so much a part of our lives for so long. He lives on in our memories, and will be very much missed. RIP dear John. Anne, Bernadette and John - you are in our thoughts and we send our sincere condolences on your loss. John and Laurie xxxxxx

So many great memories with your dad. He was so much fun at our neighborhood Christmas parties. We had great Thanksgivings together with our family but most of all, we loved his stories. He was a great role model of being a loving and caring parent and grandparent. He will definitely be missed many. Prayers for your family as you go through this difficult time. Hugs to you all.

I worked with John with two different companies. While most of us were electricians, John was a craftsman. He had little patience for fools or slackers, but if you were willing to work and learn he was willing to teach. I learned a lot from him, but I never reached his level of skill. Thanks for trying, John. RIP
