Obituary of Deborah Jeanne Dice
Deborah Jeanne Dice, 69, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents David Allison and Carrie Irene Brown. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kurt William Davis and wife, Dee, Aaron James Davis and wife, Cheryl; daughters, Laurie Davis, Kirsten Marie Cavaness and husband, Chad; brother, David Allen Brown and wife, Peggy; sisters, Candice Neal and husband, Larry, Suzanne Shumaker and husband, Fred; nine grandchildren and a host of other family and dear friends.
Debbie was born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to David Allison and Carrie Irene Brown. She graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1967 and moved to Texas in 1980. Debbie spent her younger years as a stay at home mon and proudly went back to college in her 40’s to obtain her radiological technician certification. She worked as an MRI technician for the VA hospital for many years before switching and teaching in San Jacinto College’s radiological technician program. Debbie’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family and friends. She will forever be remembered for the love, care and support she gave to each of her children and grandchildren. Debbie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers the Dice family asks that donations be made in Debbie’s name to The Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation or American Society of Transplantation.
Services for Debbie will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 5:30 until 7:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 7:00 pm.
