Tribute for Aunt Leonora
Nora as everyone knew her by was the Queen of her Penn Family Circle and she enjoyed being pampered as the Queen she was. As we would say in the Islands, “She ran the route.” Her home was the place everybody went to. She was the heart of Fat Hog’s Bay in my eyes. I remember her fish in mayonnaise sauce with okra and dumplings on the side, her homemade twisted peppermint candies and coconut sugar cakes. She was a devoted member of the SDA Church and introduced all her nieces/ nephews and others around to Sabbath school and Sabbath keeping. There are so many memories but the most important thing is that she continued her walk with the Lord and continued going to the SDA Church in Texas.
May she rest peacefully in the master’s arms.
