Dennis, the oldest of eight children, was born January 15, 1934 in Sweet Home, Texas. Later, the family moved to the Wallis and Orchard area. He married Betty Mikes on February 16, 1957 at Guardian Angel Church in Wallis, Texas. They made their home in Houston and resided in Pearland for the past 42 years.
Dennis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an excellent provider for his family and worked for more than 28 years keeping the lines going at the American Can Company. Dennis was excellent with his hands and combined with his mechanical mind, he could fix most anything he put his hands on. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, fishing, antique tractor shows and listening to polka music. Dennis greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
