Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Mary Lynne Bockel, 68, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Winfred and Mary Simmons.  Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Bob Bockel; sons, Steven Troy Bockel and wife, Tracie, Darren Anthony Bockel; daughter, Nysi Chasity Bockel; sisters, Winnie Woodall and husband, James, Jean Payne; grandchildren, Josh and Frankie Bockel; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Mary was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother that cared very deeply for her family.  She assisted with taking care of her parents when their health began to fade and was always by their side.  Mary was very hardworking and worked for many years at Witco Chemical as an executive secretary.  She was small in stature but very feisty.  Mary maintained an active role in all of her children’s school activities and supported Bob’s lodge by preparing meals throughout the years.  She loved gardening, plants, and cooking for family get-togethers.  Mary fought a courageous battle with cancer and showed everyone her great strength, determination and compassion.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
