Obituary of Lacie Lafaye Moore-Smith

Lacie LaFaye Moore-Smith 32, of Angleton, Texas passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019. Left to cherish her memory are her parents; Mother; Leitha Doebler. Father; Michael Moore and her Step Father; Jeff Doebler. Her daughters; Bella Arnold & Autumn Gonzales. Her Grandparents; Gary & Eunice Kell of Gadsden AL. Barbara & Leo Borrego of Gainsville, FL., & Alice Faye McKnight of Angleton, TX. Her sisters; Korina Moore, Miranda Kell-Williams, Sarah Williams & Victoria Doebler.  Her Aunt; Evelyn Keen & husband Lamar. Her Uncle; Dale Moore & wife Chris and a host of many other family and friends.

Lacie’s biggest success was her heart and how deeply she loved. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister. Although she had many struggles throughout her life, she was always eager and willing to try to help another up, that may have fallen or got lost. She made a career out of trying to help people see the best in themselves and move past whatever demon they had been battling at that moment. She was a kind person who believed in forgiveness and brought laughter and joy to those that had the privilege to know her.

A visitation and funeral service for Lacie will take place at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place the following day on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 10:00 am, with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
