Obituary of Rodolfo Cruz Ramirez

Rodolfo Cruz Ramirez, 68, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his father Pioquinto Ramirez.  Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Ofelia Ramirez; his loving wife of 43 years, America Ramirez; sons, Rudy Ramirez and wife, Vanessa, Carlos Ramirez and wife, Jana; eight brothers, one sister, grandchildren, Gabriella, Madeleine, Julian, Emily; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Rodolfo was a very honest and honorable man that dedicated his life to his family.  He was a hard worker and great provider.  Rodolfo had the special ability to fix just about anything with his hands and was instrumental in building his own home.  As a loving husband, he made sure to tell America just how much he loved her every day.  He was an exceptional role model and example to his sons of just how you should live your life and treat people around you.  Rodolfo was always thinking of others and was available to help anyone in need.  He was extremely proud of his boys and made sure they realized just how important his family was to him.  Rodolfo was even there for his mother, brothers and a few nephews and would travel back to Mexico anytime someone needed help.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation and rosary for Rodolfo will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The funeral mass will take place Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church, 4025 Grapevine St., Houston, Texas 77045.  Burial will be held in Veracruz, Mexico.
