Jeffrey John Hamachek passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53 on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at his home in League City.

Jeff was born on September 10, 1965 in Wauwatosa, WI to John and Nancy Hamachek. He was the oldest of two children. He received his degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Houston and worked as a graphic designer and fine artist for 30 years in the Houston/Galveston area. He was an accomplished oil painter, having shown his work regularly at the Bayou City Art Festival in Houston, Rockport Art Festival, Galveston’s ARToberfest and others. Art was his greatest passion and sharing his art for the public to enjoy was among his greatest pleasures,

Jeff is survived by his wife Jerri Hamachek with whom he recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. Also left to cherish his memory are his parents, John and Nancy Hamachek; daughter, Kelsey Hamachek; brother, Jim Hamachek; granddaughter, Kayden Olson; and a host of other family and dear friends.

A visitation and service for Jeff will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. The visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until service time at 6:30 pm and continue afterward until 8:00 pm.
