Jose Angel Presas will be greatly missed by friends and family alike. Jose was born in Houston, Texas and spent most of his life in Pearland. He had the ability to make anyone smile. All his friends knew him as the “jokester”, he had an unbelievable sense of humor. Jose was a strong, brave young man never scared to try anything new. He enjoyed playing sports and took part in many youth teams; playing little league baseball, high school football, basketball, and also softball. He loved spending time with friends watching the Dallas Cowboys and UFC while having a couple beers. He was a great son who made his parents proud and a great brother. Words cannot describe what an amazing young man he was.
Jose was extremely excited to move to Arizona to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. He graduated and later decided he would pursue a career in criminal justice. He began working at the detention center in 2009. Jose would often call to his family back in Texas and tell stories of his job and keep in touch. He took much pride in his work.
His family now knows there is truly an Angel looking down on them. God saw it fit to take him from us, but it is through Him that Jose will rest in peace. We know that we will one day again be together. May God bless his soul and may he be granted eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
