Obituary of Courtney Dyan Barr

Courtney Dyan Barr, age 24, passed away on January 31, 2008. She is survived by her loving family, father John Barr & his wife Deb and mother Brenda Sandefur & her husband Bob; half-brother Jarad Barr; stepbrother Brandon & Andrea Sandefur; grandmother, Stella Garrett; aunts and uncles Gary & Linda Garrett, David & Cynthia Garrett, and Deb & Craig Winters; Godparents Kenneth & Mary Tom Hefte; and a host of other family & friends. Courtney had a magnetic personality and although she never spoke, she communicated with her eyes and her smile to everyone around her. Her favorite possessions were her Mardi Gras beads and all types of rattle toys. Courtney’s favorite part of the day was meal time where she enjoyed any type of food and had a big appetite for french fries and apples juice. She will be remembered for her sweet smile and unconditional love. A Celebration of Courtney’s life will be held on Monday, 11:00 AM, February 4, 2008, at Clayton Funeral Home.
