Obituary of Kenneth Byron Allen
Kenneth Byron Allen, 69, of Pearland passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Houston surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Allen. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Monzelle Allen, son, Travis A. Allen and wife, Tonya; granddaughter, Monzelle Mia Allen, with one more granddaughter on the way; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Ken was a master plumber for 40 plus years and owned and operated a successful plumbing business, Pearland Plumbing for more than 35 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life. Ken loved all animals and was known to stop on the side of the road if he ever saw an animal in distress or need. He was a great father and wonderful provider for his family. Ken was affectionally known as “Paw” to his granddaughter who was the apple of his eye. You would see him all over town in his truck and he was a regular at Kelley’s having lunch with his friends. Ken will be greatly missed by all that knew and love him.
A Memorial gathering to honor the life of Ken will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway Street, Pearland, Texas 77581.
