Renee Lynn McAllister, 60, of La Porte was born on August 16, 1959 in Galveston, Texas to Arnold McAllister and Donna McAllister and passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Preceding Renee in death are her father, Arnold McAllister.  Cherished memories will always remain in the hearts of her daughter, Nicole Shaw and husband, Billy; son, Kevin Ellison; mother, Donna McAllister; sisters, Cynthia McAllister, Denise Paulissen and husband, Mark; Valerie Montalbo; Laura Smith and husband, Ronald; brothers, Arnold “Alan” McAllister; Ronald McAllister; Danny McAllister and wife, Kathleen; grandchildren, Makayla and Dylan Shaw and Mason, Joshua and Blake Ellison as well as other family and friends.

Renee was a lover of life.  She was very devoted to family and enjoyed celebrating life’s most precious moments with both family and friends.  Being the loving and supportive mother that she was she always worked hard and gave great attention to detail in caring for her children.  She loved to travel in her leisure time.  Her love for music always made her dance which she did well.  Her favorite sport was football in which she was a huge Houston Texan Fan.  She enjoyed watching the Texans play but her most favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.  Her love and affection will live on the in the hearts of those she loved.

Memorial service celebrating Renee Lynn McAllister will be 2:00 PM on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Clayton Funeral Chapel, 201 S 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571 with DJ Dickerson.
