Please share a memory of Gregory to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Gregory Sumra was born on the island gem of Saint Lucia on February 2nd 1955 to George Sumra and Julie Sumra. He was the third son of a large family. From a young age he had developed the mindset to be disciplined and hard working. He was his father’s right hand man as a farmer and butcher. He loved to make things grow. He also had a love for automotives and the outdoors but his greatest love was his family. For 45 years Gregory was the perfect companion for his wife Julia and together they raised six children, and they have gone on to raise grandchildren. He is survived by Cindy Charles, Elton Sumra, Kenis Sumra, Amina Sumra, Alva Sumra and McKay Sumra. Grand children Delton Sumra, Abigail Charles, Gordon Charles, Kiera JnLouis, Kailynn JnLouis and Kenlee Sumra. In 2002 he emigrated to the United States, moving to Houston, TX for better opportunities where they made a lifetime of memories. However, on November 5th 2019 the lord wanted to give his body rest and he passed on from cancer. He was a patient man. A loving man. A gentle man. A confident man. A strong man and will be missed forever. We love you Mr. Sumra.
