Obituary of Griselle R. Rivera

Griselle R. Rivera, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Her father, Candelario Rodriguez, precedes her in death. She is survived by her mother Ramonita Rivera and husband Jeremiah; husband, William Rivera; son, Willie Rivera, Jr. and fiancé Karen; daughters Aimee Angerome and husband Angelo, Liza Lafferty and husband Darren, Pamela Guerrero and husband Juan; brothers, Edwin Rodriguez and wife Nilda, Peter “Pedrito” Rodriguez and wife Juanita; sister Nancy Williams and husband Gary; grandchildren, Evan, Jacob, Avery, Gabriel, Angelo, Kamille, Aiden, Isaac, and Ethan. William and Griselle enjoyed traveling together and their 40 year marriage was a union that all their friends and family admired. Griselle was all about her family. Affectionately known as “Buela” to her grandchildren. She had the ability to “balance” everything with her family, raising four children, kept a beautiful home and worked to help provide for her family. Griselle was an inspirational role model to everyone. She was a proud “Boriqua” who enjoyed cooking for her family. Griselle also loved dancing and passed that on to her children. Her home was always open to her children, grandchildren and all of their friends; it was the place where everyone wanted to be because of her and Willie’s hospitality and love. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, August 28TH at Grace Community Church at 14505 Gulf Freeway, Houston, Texas 77034 with Pastor Reuben Escobedo officiating.
