Obituary of Jaime Jose Muñoz

Jaime Jose Muñoz, 47, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2008. He is preceded in death by his father Carlos Jose Muñoz. He is survived by his mother, Maria Elena Muñoz of El Paso; companion Angelina Martinez of Pearland; daughter and son Elisa Rae Muñoz and Carlos Jose Muñoz both of Kingwood, Texas; additional family Olivia Martinez and granddaughter Adriana Ramirez of Pearland, Texas; brother Fred Muñoz and his wife Rose of El Paso; sisters Yolie Hernandez & her husband Frank and Grace Moreno & her husband Charlie all of El Paso, Texas; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Jaime was originally from El Paso, Texas and spent more than eighteen years in the Houston area. He loved sports and enjoyed playing golf or watching Carlos’s lacrosse games. He treasured the time spent at weekly dinners with his children or hanging out with “The Margarita Gang”. Jaime worked for over five years as a Project Director in the Facilities Department at Lone Star College Systems. Visitation for Jaime is on Saturday, February 16, 2008, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas, 77581, 281-485-4446. Deacon Al O’Brien will recite the Rosary at 7 PM. Additional services will take place in El Paso, Texas at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter, 915-855-8881. Visitation and Rosary is on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 5 PM to 9 PM. A Funeral Mass is on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 North Mesa Street, El Paso, Texas 79902, 915-533-4451. Burial is at Evergreen East Cemetery.
