Betty loved her family dearly, spending time with them and making them each feel special. That was one of Betty’s gifts, how she made you feel special when you were with her. Betty was the first one on the dance floor and always the life of the party. Betty was an accomplished artist that loved all types of art. She was an amazing interior decorator and loved pretty things. Betty never met a stranger, enjoyed a good conversation and her contagious sense of humor could have everyone laughing. Betty fought a strong and courageous battle with cancer and was an inspiration to everyone around her. Betty took many a girl’s trips with her best friends, which she enjoyed. She always looked forward to her trips to Mexico to visit her sister Bessie. Last but certainly not least, she shared her life with two families. Her second family was her “POKER” family, that she loved dearly. Betty’s kind and gentle spirit will live on in the lives of those she loved and those that loved her. Betty lived her life to the fullest and was an example of how to love, laugh and live.
