Obituary of Mary E. Dunn

Mary E. Dunn, age 88 of Pearland, Texas passed away on May 29, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, George & Fannie Casteel; husband, Arvin Dunn. She is survived by her sons, Billy & Gary Dunn; daughter, Vaneasa Neff; and seven grandchildren. Mary was born on August 12, 1920 in Memphis, Tennessee. She loved being a mother and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. Her grandchildren affectionately called her “Nannie”. Shopping was one of Mary’s favorite activities, and she often drove to Walmart with her dear friend, Henry Foley. She was also known for keeping an impeccably clean house. Her fond memories will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, 281-485-4446. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm in the Clayton Chapel. A Graveside Service will be on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 12:00 pm at N. Belton Cemetery in Belton, Texas.
