Angela Margaret Applebe, 65, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Joan Rosenbalm; husband, Brance Russell Applebe; and brothers, Keith Allen Rosenbalm and Eric Thomas Rosenbalm. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Jason Applebe and wife, Yvonne, Jared Applebe, Jordan Applebe and wife, Jamie, Jamison Applebe; grandchildren, Madison, Jackson, Joshua and James; sister, Elaine Mire and a host of other family and dear friends. Angela was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that loved her family. Her kind-heartedness and willing to help others was exemplified in everything she did. Angela was always available to help others in need. She loved holding and rocking babies. Angela would gladly step into the shade so that others could shine in the sun. Her sons were extremely important to her and she always found time to attend their sporting or extra-curricular events when they were in school. She will forever be remembered for her selflessness, beauty and intelligence. Angela will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Angela will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 South 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571. The visitation will take place Friday, May 15, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan’s Point Cemetery.
