Obituary of Pero Kovacevic

Pero Kovacevic, 61, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Ljuban Kovacevic, and mother, Marija Lekic Kovacevic. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 41 years, Mira Kovacevic; son, Aleksandar Kovacevic and wife, Dijana; daughters, Aleksandra Kovacevic and Jelena Kovacevic; sister, Petra Matic and husband, Milovan: grandchildren, Lejla Ceric, Benjamin Ceric, and Nicholas Navarrete; and a host of many others. Pero was a loving husband, father and grandfather that was an excellent provider for his family. He devoted his life to providing everything he could to make life easier for his wife and children here in the United States. Pero lived through an extremely tough war in his homeland of Croatia and made the extremely difficult decision to leave his parents and move to America to provide a safe and healthy place for his wife and children. He passed away on the 20th anniversary of living in the United States. Pero will be remembered for his creative and fun attitude. He loved to tell jokes or anecdotes about his life. Pero loved singing, playing his accordion and entertaining his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Pero will be held Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
