Bradshaw Lester Stanley, Sr., loving husband and father, passed away on June 18, 2020 at the age of 67. He was born in Beaumont, Texas to Horace Stanley and Lurlene Stanley. Brad grew up in Garden Villas, where he graduated from Jesse Jones High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Houston. He married his wife, Cherri, in 1988. Brad was a successful business owner in the Houston area and worked as a professional landman all over Texas. From a young age, Brad was an active person who enjoyed a wide circle of friends. He loved sports, the outdoors and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was sincerely interested in the lives of those around him and volunteered to help more times than we can count. He and his family maintained a ranch in Colmesneil, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cherri Dawn Stanley; sons Bradshaw Lester Stanley, Jr. and Montgomery Amberson Stanley of Pearland; sister Rebecca Cavalier and brother Wesley Stanley; nephews Paul and David Cavalier. He is preceded in death by his father, Horace and his mother, Lurlene Stanley. Brad will be deeply missed. Visitation will be Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 Broadway in Pearland, with burial to follow in Village Mills Cemetery in Warren, Texas at 3:00 pm.
