Eugene Arthur Sullivan, 65, passed away on July 9, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, James E. Sullivan and Dorothy Heckbert. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, of 39 years but in his heart f or 40 years, Adelaida Sullivan; daughter, Tala Sullivan Cooper and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Damian, Deddric, Dylan, Aaliyah, and Taaliyah Cooper; and a host of many other family and friends. Eugene was a wonderful husband and father who was an excellent provider. He had a servant’s heart, who had two successful careers. He valiantly served his country, in the United States Army, for 13 years, and later, worked at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Eugene enjoyed keeping his shooting skills sharp by frequenting the gun range. He was also an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing. Eugene loved music, he was especially fond of Jazz and Rhythm & Blues. Eugene loved to eat good food, barbeque and gumbo were among his favorite, but his all-time favorite was Korean food. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, who all affectionately called him their “Paw Paw”. Eugene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Until we meet again you will never be forgotten. You will be forever loved. Your wife ~NA~ A funeral service for Eugene will be held Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 10:30 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland Texas, 77581. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
