My husband and I didn't know Mickey very long. We bought the house across the street from him in July and moved in August. We enjoyed our talks with him when he would walk down the driveway to collect his mail. He was such a sweet man. He welcomed us back to Pearland as I had raised my children here. He was championing Pearland and the neighborhood even then, telling us what a good neighborhood we moved into. Prayers to the family for peace and strength during this time.

Our condolences to Carleen and to all of the family and friends of Mickey Mark.
While Mickey’s 24 years being President of the Pearland Historical Newsletter, he did a great job of putting together stories that members of the Pearland Historical Society provided to Mickey about the history and families of Pearland. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the stories of Pearland. Mickey did a great job of getting the luncheon together very year in October. My last visit to the Pearland luncheon was in 2015 when Tom’s 50th class reunion was honored. I enjoyed seeing Mickey again and seeing family and friends of Pearland. Mickey was truly a great person and he will be greatly missed.
May you Rest In Peace and may God bless your soul.

Condolences to Carleen and all of Mickey Mark's family and friends. When little league baseball started in Pearland in 1957, I played for Mickey's team, the Braves. I corresponded with him over the years and submitted stories for the Pearland Historical Society Newsletter. I always looked forward to seeing him at the annual historical society reunion luncheon. He was an encouraging coach, an accommodating editor, and a good friend. May God bless his soul.
