I served with Dwight at FBC Hico Texas. I have wanted to connect with him, and only tonight found this obituary. I'm sorry I was too late. I wanted to talk to him now that we are at this stage of life.
Thank you Dwight, for your friendship.

Dwight was always such a gentle and kind soul. Geniffer is my best friend of 30+ years and Dwight always treated me as a part of his extended family. I will always remember his love and adoration, not only for his family and chosen family, but for everyone who was blessed to cross his path. And the BIG love he had for his grandkids! I am certain he is sitting at the right hand of Jesus right now and sharing stories. He will be forever missed, but oh what rejoicing there will be when one day we will all be together in glory! My thoughts and prayers will be with Vena, Geniffer, Chris and all the family during these next few weeks. Hugs to all of you!

Dwight was a fantastic Father-in-law to me and Grandfather to my children. We will truly miss his physical presence in our lives. His influence will go on forever in these kids lives.
