To Joy and the family, I offer my deepest belated condolences. I recently found about Steve’s passing from Jimmy. I lost communication/contact with Steve but never lost my interest in the relationship we develop when we first met while working together at Unocal. I believe I learned a lot about patience and humanity from Steve. Mr. Gayle, you shaped the person I am and you truly have been and will be missed. God Bless!

Joy, our prayers and condolences to you and your family. Steve was like a big brother to me. We will miss him, his smile, and his uplifting sense of humor. Whenever I was down, he always found a way to lift my spirits. I am so thankful to God to have had such a great friend, and to know that he is resting peacefully now in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. Steve was a warrior while here on earth, and had such strength to endure all the battles that he had to fight. May God bless you, Brandon, and Sierra during this time of loss.
