Omar Puente, 40, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. Left to cherish Omar’s memory are his parents Jose and Maria Puente; loving wife, of 8 years, Sara Serrano; son, Mateo Puente; daughter, Michelle Puente; brother, Jose Puente; sister, Diana Villa and husband, Delores; grandfather, Raul Oliva, and a host of many other family and friends. Omar, a gentle giant, was a loving husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend. He was a wonderful provider for his family who thought the world of his wife and children. They were his life. Spending time with his family and friends meant more to Omar than doing anything else. He especially loved listening to music and dancing with Sara. Omar loved any opportunity to wear matching outfits with his son, Mateo. He also enjoyed barbequing with his family. Omar worked as a truckdriver and had an extraordinarily successful career. He was an incredibly quiet and conservative man who never complained about anything and always had a positive attitude about everything. Omar will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Omar will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled on Monday, February 1, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
