I went to school with Arden from first to twelfth. We were great friends. I remember visiting him when he had rheumatic fever. I climbed in bed with him and played with his toys.

I worked with Ken at S&B for many years. Our offices were next to each other and we spent many an afternoon discussing "work issue" while cracking and eating roasted peanuts.
Ken was proud of of his family and especially Ashley. He was always showing his latest picture of her.
Likewise, his love of Mopar was unquestionable.!
He had called me just at the beginning of February and we had caught up on the latest news.
I will always remember him as a smiling , happy person and will miss talking to him.

I worked with Ken for several years at S&B. He was the most knowledgeable and helpful rotating equipment engineer I've ever known. I had to lead a group at a chemical plant one time and show them around a large compressor. Everyone had all kinds of questions for me except Ken - he was finding all the answers on his own (I surely couldn't have taught him anything new!) He was a kid in a candy store that day. His legacy will live on through the engineers who learned from him, including me. My condolences to Ken's family and friends.

The Ward family has always been friendly and caring. Ken came to our home to help my husband make it through prostate cancer. He was so good to be there for both of us. He will certainly be missed by many of us. Prayers for the family.

Carol- We were so sorry to hear about this news. I posted a note for you on Legacy.com also but wanted to be sure you saw our message, so I'm posting it here too. Sending our deepest condolences to you and your family from Brett and me. From working at Hermann with you several decades ago to seeing you two at the S& B Christmas parties and then at our Pearland Church, we feel like we have known you guys for a long time, even though we did not see you often. I just saw you guys from a distance in a Pearland store recently too. I wish I would have said hello. We pray for comfort and peace for you and your whole family during this difficult time for you.

Dear Carol,
I have really enjoyed getting to know you and Ken through the Houston Mopar Connection Club. Ken was so friendly and nice to me when I joined the club, making me feel welcome. He would talk about you two's trips to the Cruise auctions and tell me that I needed to take Woody there for a show. Just the fact that he was so inclusive was heart warming. Sorry to hear of Ken's passing and wish you and the rest of your family the very best.

We moved into the neighborhood last July and have only known Ken and Carol for a short time. They are just a sweet couple. Ken would always stop by and say hi to us and also to our dog Blu. If we saw each other walking we would always stop and chit chat for a bit. We were welcomed into the neighborhood by all and especially by Ken as well as Carol. I’m heartbroken, but want to send my warmest condolences and thoughts to the family and Carol. Ken was a great man and will be missed by all.
