Mitch, "Other Marizza," gossip girl, best friend, twin flame,
Kobi Yamada once said "Some people add so much beauty to being human." And when he said that, I know he had someone like you in mind. I don't know one person who wasn't immediately charmed by you, nor do I know anyone who could stay mad at you for long. Your soul, your spirit, your light, will forever be unmatched.
When I first met you in Atlanta, I realized that my own story would be forever changed. You wore your heart on your sleeve, you loved unconditionally and thought in such a profound way. You were emotionally wise beyond your years, and were one of the most intelligent people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. When you told me that all of those same traits were in me, amplified, I refused to believe it. You were persistent about reminding me until I did believe you, though. You were stubborn that way.
It took me a long time to finally understand you, the lessons you taught me, and to finally understand what you saw in me. You once told me that your life journey was complete if you knew that I was going to be okay, because you knew I would go on to be amazing, to change the world. But, it should be you who is here changing the world, Mitch. It should be you who's political views constantly infuriate me, and it should be you who I get coffee and gossip about the other lawmakers with in Congress in 20 years.
In the times that we didn't talk, your lessons, your heart, reminders of you were always with me. You knew that one day I wouldn't have you to lean on, but you succeeded in your mission of making sure that I would be okay. When people tell me I'm emotionally intelligent, that I care and love deeply, I'll always have you to thank, you helped me develop those qualities. You helped me understand the strength in loving with reckless abandon, the power in empathy, and how important it was to put me first sometimes. Sometimes we fall down, but the important thing is that we stand back up. During the worst period of my life, you were always there to show me the light at the end of the tunnel was closer than I thought.
Dear Mitch, I hope that you are finally at peace. That you finally feel all of the unconditional love that you gave to everybody else. I hope so dearly that you've found the light at the end of the tunnel, and that you don't even register that you had to go through the tunnel to get to it in the first place. I promise to tell Kenai "hi" for you, and I promise to do all of the things you were so convinced that I was capable of. I promise to continue your legacy in your absence.

Words can't explain how much you touched the world with your smile, laughter and your willing to make everyone else smile. Your smile could light up a room. Aaron said he will miss your conversation about the Astros, shoes and hearing about the wonderful places you traveled to. Ashton said he will miss you walking in and knowing your there to make him smile and laugh even if it was at Sean or Nathan's expense. :) I will miss just you in all sweet girl.
