Obituary of Jesse Jon Soliz

Jesse Jon Soliz, 47 of Pearland, passed away November 12, 2010. He is survived by parents, Reynaldo and Stella Soliz; his loving wife of fourteen years, Paula Soliz; son, Brian Soliz; brothers, Reynaldo Soliz, Jr. and wife, Rose, Ricardo Soliz and wife, Linda; sister Mary Mohammad and husband, Ali; and a host of many other family and friends. Jesse was a wonderful son, brother, husband, and father who always looked out for his family and took care of them. His smiling disposition and happy attitude made him a magnet for all of his nieces and nephews as well as all the children in the neighborhood. Jesse loved his dogs and was a big animal lover. He was always there for everyone and could never say “No” to someone in need. Jesse was very close to his brothers and sister and family gatherings were always a special time for him. The relationship he had with his parents was a special one as he fondly called his dad, “Sergeant” and considered his mother one his of best friends. Jesse will always be remembered for his love of football and his support of the Oakland Raiders. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Visitation for Jesse will be on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held in the Clayton Chapel at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 with Father David Zapalac from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church officiating. The final interment will follow at Alvin Cemetery. The pallbearers for the service will be Ricardo Soliz, Reynaldo Soliz, Brian Soliz, Frank Herrera, Ricardo Soliz, Jr. and Robert Soliz.
