Nonato Santiago Bayaua, 71, passed away on August 24, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gaspar and Estelita Bayaua, and sister, Rustica Bayaua. He is survived by his loving wife, Marietta Bayaua, brothers, Benedicto Bayaua and wife Lydia, Virgilio Bayaua and wife Gilda, Dario Bayaua and wife Charito , and Dante Bayaua and wife Mary Grace; sons, Nonato Bayaua Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Ramon Bayaua and wife Minette, Nomar Bayaua and wife Lilibeth; daughters, Marilou Dandoy and husband Antonio, and Marianne Riego and husband Felix; grandchildren, Marc, Nathan, Chace, Megan, Keila, Annika, Aronne, Axel, Frances, Kenneth, Kelly, Keisha, and Lance; along with a host of other dear family and friends.
Nonato was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Any chance to gather with them, especially for holidays, was precious to him. Nonato was a wonderful provider for his family. He retired after many years of public service in the Philippines as a state auditor. After retiring, he immigrated to the United States in 2005 where he continued to work, latest as a security officer at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas. Nonato was affectionately known as “Daddy” to his entire family, but his friends knew him simply as “Nonoy”. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
