Obituary of Susan Bristow Wood

Susan Bristow Wood, age 66, of Sante Fe Texas, joined her heavenly family on September 7, 2021. Susan was born in Houston Texas to Robert and Donna Bristow on March 24, 1955. She was raised in Pearland Texas and graduated from Pearland High School in 1973. She went on to earn a degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas Dental Branch and worked as a Dental Hygienist from 1979 until her retirement in March 2017. She enjoyed quilting, dancing, and being out at the family land. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and fur-baby, Buddy. Susan is survived by her husband Michael Wood; son Jason and wife Erin; son Robert and wife Jessica; grandchildren Noah, Katheryne, Kimberly, Annabella, Aurora, and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Pridgen and husband Paul; nephew Phil and wife Amanda; great nephew Noah; nephew Mathew and wife Shelley; great niece Shannah and great nephew Eathan; nephew Anthony and wife Christine; great nephew Charlie and great niece Allison; brother Craig Bristow and fiancé Susan Putman; and brother Kevin Bristow, along with a host of additional family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Donna Bristow; twin sister Carol Wills, brother-in-law Dick Wills; and Aunt Nelda “Von” Bristow.
