Becky Jane Jackson, 55 passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father William Calvin Barnes; and brothers Cliff Barnes and Rex Barnes. Left to cherish Becky’s memory are her mother Jane Bernice Thomas; loving husband, James Jackson; son Bradley Jackson; daughters Jessica Voorhees and husband, Derek, Ashley Morgan and husband, Tim, Katie Simpson and husband, Chris, Alex Deem and husband, Glenn; fourteen grandchildren, and a host of many other dear family and friends. Becky was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved taking van trips to visit her family in Tennessee and Colorado. Becky was an animal lover, and she was extremely fond of cats. Becky also enjoyed Halloween, Friday the 13th, Tales of the Crypt, storms, and anything horror. She also enjoyed time spent around the water, in particular water parks and beaches. Becky will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Becky will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 S. 3rd Street, LaPorte, Texas. Visitation is scheduled on Thursday, September 23rd, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24, at 10:00 am, with pastor D.J. Dickerson officiating.
