Obituary of Emmanuel Guerra
Please share a memory of Emmanuel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Emmanuel Guerra, 41, of Pearland, Texas passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, after a courageous battle with Covid-19.
Emmanuel was born on April 25, 1980, in Houston, Texas to Sylvia Guerra and Manuel Leal. Emmanuel was preceded in death by his father Manuel Leal. Left to cherish Emmanuel’s memory are his mother Sylvia Guerra; loving wife, of 14 years, Britney; son Benjamin; daughter Emily; and fraternal twins Jack and Elisabeth (Sissy).
Emmanuel was raised in Houston and graduated from Austin High School in 1999. His fondest childhood memories were working in his uncle’s tire store and spending summers in Mexico with his grandfather. Always a Houstonian, Emmanuel was a true Astros and Texans fan. At the time of his death, Emmanuel was a Maintenance Planner for Covestro LLC.
Emmanuel’s greatest accomplishment was becoming a devoted husband and loving father who cherished spending time and making wonderful memories with his family. His greatest joy was joining his children wherever they were. Emmanuel loved coaching football and shuttling Sissy to cheer but his favorite job was teaching Benjamin, Jack, and Sissy everything there is to know about the worlds of Marvel and Anime. Emmanuel always made family reservations for opening night of the latest Marvel movie release. Excluding Christmas Eve, there wasn’t a bigger night in the Guerra house. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A private family memorial service for Emmanuel will be held at Clayton Funeral Home on Friday, October 15th, 2021. However, everyone is invited to attend virtually by viewing the service live stream.
